Hi guys,

Yea , so i decided to sing a really easy song (messed up some of the words i know haha). My voice feels really easy to use after discovering my head voice, and connecting the different registers etc. Tell me what you think about my tone quality etc. (personally i think i still have some difficulties and breaks but i just started with SS and im on CD3. The high parts sound a bit whiny and are difficult to coordinate, so i go off pitch.). Can't wait to start CD4!!

And yes i know my articulation at certain parts kinda sucked... ill work on that after i have decent vocal technique.

Actually, that's not bad at all. I really like the distortion you did with your voice at the end. The only part that really stuck out to me was the beginning. When you're not singing with complete cord closure, you have to be very careful of your tone. You still want the same open feeling, don't close it down like I hear you doing. Also, make sure you are breathing with your stomach. It make a huge difference for me. That might be able to help you with your pitch issues at the beginning. Overall though, not bad.

You've got style, man. I love that I can really enjoy you full song recordings, just musically. I think you might be slightly higher larynxed that would sound best, such when you say "they call"(the rising sun). But honestly, I'm being pretty nitpicky. I thought it was really good. Try the stomach thing vince suggested to see how it works for you. It's never been of any use to me(really, it just messes me up, if anything), but I don't deny it might helps others. I didn't really notice the pitch issues vince mentioned though, except for a singular tiny moment. I'm focusing on your second clip, btw.

Great job dude! You've come a long way. And your diction is wayyyy clearer as well ^_^.

Thanks guys... will try to have better airflow next time... Oh and btw the second clip was a bit badly mixed last time (vocals a bit too loud, muffled ) the file in the link is updated with a better version... (sounds crisper)

@napilopez: well actually i myself know there are around 10 or so pitch mess ups even in the second clip :P ... i dont think i can give any excuse for those really... just have to keep practicing my technique until it becomes easier to sing and hence easier to sing on pitch
