Nice voice, I like the way you sing this song.
I can't hear a lot in your latest clip. A clip of you vocalizing would be a lot more helpful than a clip of you singing. Jake

Hey!
I hear an untrained voice with a lot of potential! I will tell you though that none of that is mix. What is your background? Have you have any training before? Do you use Singing Success? Tell me a bit about yourself. Jake

I´ve started with singing 2 years ago with a band...I stopped singing last year with this band, because I cant hit the higher notes like a F4 and it was so
frustrated for me...I´ve founded the singing success program one year ago and now i know that I am doing exercises without progress
I can´t do exercises at home too loudly, so my volume is like in my latest
record. Sometimes I am practicing in my car but i am yelling too much. Now I can yell G4, sometimes A4 and this is all my progress... Also i can sing like in my records, with not too much tense or strain but still
incorrect and without using my mix voice...Btw am i singing in falseto? My talking voice is too chesty and voice teacher told me that i cant sing higher
because i am baritone and nashville is so far...Do you have any tips
for me?What am I doing wrong?

Your number one priority right now should be to learn. You need to have at least a basic understanding of what the registers sound like: head voice,
falsetto, chest voice, etc. You need to know what "pulling up chest voice" is, and how to avoid it. You need to understand what splatting the vowel
is, and you need to know why you train in the first place.
The first thing you have to do is develop the muscles inside the larynx so that when you sing any given pitch the muscles inside the larynx have the strength, flexibility and conditioning they need to work without the help of any outer muscles. Here are some threads which I suggest you read: Back to the Basics: Shouting Basic Foundation of a Free Voice Is Breathing Important? I just want to add that the intrinsic muscles of the larynx are already strong enough...so actually you don't have to make them stronger or build strength
- instead you have to learn to coordinate the fine movements of these muscles, and of course that's only a part of the whole vocal mechanism.
Just wanted to point that out

Sofus could be right, I'm not too sure. I have the feeling that mis-use, imabalance or underuse could possibly over time weaken the fine vocal
"muscles" or whatever they are.
The "strengthening" could also be seen as a metaphor for independence which is ultimately, really what strength is. If you ask me. |

Interesting. More later.

Wow you sound just like when i did the excercise. Your chest voice = lower notes sound better than mine.
You are veru soft and musical. It seems to me - well - my voice teacher has been working with me for a while now- on lihgteing up the chest voice...so that the tonal quiality stays the same throught all your range. mixing is bringing more head into chest and more chest into head, isnt it? or in other way - so that it will be as smooth as possibel and so you have "one voice" throut your range..not all those registers..,.that you will sound the same. |

Thank you for a replies...I began to do exercises from the first lesson...I am just practicing and looking at myself in the mirror
I will be working hard on my technique.Leonetha good idea,i will try it
bringing more head into chest and chest into head.
