Hey, I noticed you said you were on Lesson 2 (CD4) for 6 months. Was that really necessary? When did you realize you had to move on?

I'm on lesson 3 after doing SS for 3 months. I don't really need the nays since I am connected, but I still do the mums from Lesson 2. Just wondering about that and stuff, if you could give me some input that would be awesome.

Re: Jolly

CD 4 is a great CD! That is why I stayed on it for so long. I didn't stay on CD 5 for a long time because it deals a lot with vibrato, wich I already have.

Do the nays, but don't use the whiney sound.

What else did you want to know? I'm sorry, I'm not sure what you want to know.

Thanks,
Jolly Jake

No I think that's it. I'll kinda mix both play around. Actually my vibrato is getting good, I'll probably go to Lesson 4 in the next week, and mix Lesson 2 in with it. I know lesson 4 keeps working on vibrato a bit, so it should help. So speech level nays work well at this point now?

I just had an awesome idea, I can't believe I never thought about it before! I can just make a playlist of excercises on my ipod, and practice those! Sweet!

I practice every day in my car when going to my job (liprolls), next when going back to my home and then, after the dinner and spend some time with my girl (well almost my wife),I'm working about 1h with CD4:) . Summary it is about 1.5h of practice per day.

Actually Leo, I have that same problem too with iTunes, but arranging them tracks in order doesn't take long. I find it amazing that I can now pretty much practice as much as I want without strain, its pretty exciting. The only thing I am struggling with as of now is intonation, that's the only thing I wish I had better right now.
