Well... I'm putting all my time spent doing it together: About 4 - 6 months. I'm not really sure.
I remember that I couldn't sing the first chorus of "You Raise Me Up" when I was taking voice lessons from my teacher. I can almost sing the whole song - recording quality. A month or two of work and I'll be able to do it.
D, E, F, G, and I am moving on to the A and upward to mens high C. That is just solo quality. I can go up to womens high C in head voice and sometimes to the next C above womens.
I have gained a lot. Plus, my voice has grown stronger. Not to brag or anything, but it has grown a lot.
