Sounds pretty good. =) You seem to be at roughly the same spot as me. Can you take it higher? If not, perhaps try doing the whole thing lighter, just for
experimentation - not necessarily permanently but rather to give you another option. The point with this experiment is to see if you can go higher with it
and perhaps do things a bit more freely so you have a good base to eventually add chest to, as your voice allows you to.
If you can go higher already, then great. Hehe. From the recording it sounded like A4 was a big deal to you (and it is a great thing!), so I wasn't sure
if you could go higher with it or not. =)
By the way, here's a clip of me, in case maybe it helps you or whatever. It shows me slowly transitioning upwards from C4 one half-step at a time.
It's not all completely the sound I eventually want, but it's coming along really well and is smoother and freer than what I've been doing for a
while, and I can feel my voice is letting me bring in more chest than I could before. Here it is: Yaa on 3 note descent, from middle C up

I can take it up to a high C/C#. But then it gets really heady and I can't sustain it comfortably. My gameplan now is to start slow, get the range of
notes from E-A down, because I'm in a band, and these notes are really important. Sometimes when you sing, all the technique goes out of the window. And if
I don't sing these few note with good technique, I'm sure I'll get hoarse after a few songs. Notes higher than A I could always get away with pure
headvoice for now.
I listened to your clip, it sounds like you're using a lot of twang. I don't know but you, but personally, I prefer "thicker" tone. You
can try lowering your larynyx a little. But that's just me.
