Re: Interesting fault found - letting go of chest
I think this was one of my main problems, as I see it. I found it so incredibly hard to find that I was "let go." I mean, yeah, when I was talking, I wasn't like that. It wasn't airy, and was converting the air to sound energy properly. Shoot, I could yell and not have that problem. (On occasion I could/can scream like that, but I don't know how to do it yet.) When it came to singing, the switch just flipped, I guess.
You've gotta know what causes it so you can try to fix it. You already know what sound you want, so just go for it. Learn to feel.
By the way, I'm settled into my apartment, have cable internet and a mic. I can start helping out more with people and clips and stuff if it's desired. I got home about 5pm EST. Needless to say, I'm married so I won't devote all of my time to it, but it's still a passion and I'm willing, if it is desired of me.
BEST OF WISHES!
