Hey everyone,
I heard about a vocal teacher named Fred Carama from this person I met online. He is actually a true old style classical Bel Canto teacher, I didn't believe it until I saw that he teaches in the same academy as Marilyn Horne who is an opera singer that has been taught from the old Bel Canto technique, same as Caruso.
Anyway, this guy Fred Carama has taught many top opera singers. I listened to one of his students who sang Nessun Dorma, his name is Bruce Sledge and I have to say that this guys voice is amazing, he has such an amazing ring in his voice and it doesn't sound like he's squeezing, it sounds like his totally relaxed.
Alfredo Kraus was another opera singer who used the old Italian Bel Canto

I wish Brett Manning could do an SSO update with Fred Carama, we might learn something that can protect the voice even further.
