Hey guys okay so like I said I will ask my brother in law about letting me use his computer to get a recording so yall can critique me (cuz I know I'm
probably not doing as good as I think lol) but I had a question about something.
I have a very good head/falsetto voice and I have good chord closure. Somewhere around G5 I feel my chords close and I go up into female high C (C6) and sometimes E6 or G6. When I do my mix voice the feeling I get when they close or whatever starts to occur around C4 for me. Is this right or am I totally off? The feeling is ALMOST the same.
Now with that said, I only have trouble connecting from below C4 to above C4. Once I start to get chord closure I have no problem holding a mix up until the shift happens again around F5 or G5. I want to know if this means I am singing or coordinating wrong? Someone told me that if I don't have trouble with the second bridge I am probably not singing right. I don't go breathy anymore and I don't get way quiet. I keep a consistent volume from around C4 all the way up to high C6 or higher, but I only have troubles bridging from about middle C4. I will say that I was just doing a slide and when I hit somewhere (I don't know where but it sounded about Bb) my resonance shifts to my head cavity, my soft pallet lifts more, and there's another sensation that I can't quite describe. Is this healthy by the...reading of it lol?
