Our lesson was mostly about pitch control and matching.

It was frustrating at first because I couldn't get the notes right, but I realized it takes time and patience to learn it.

Nonetheless, IT WAS AWESOME

Thanks Ben!

doing low-larynx mix excercises. This tip came up during my first lesson with Jesse when we were doing some mum's, and I've been very fascinated with
the concept because it really does seem to release something in the voice. Jesse and I also discussed compression and I've been trying to figure out just

SLS says that mix starts on the F4/F#4. Some people here say that you can hit a G4 in chest. What does Brett say, Jesse? I'm curious to know.

I personally agree with the G4 in chest theory, but I wanted to see what you all think. Where do you all think mix actually begins? I think it may start on the
G#4.

That is speaking for a male vocalist. What about the female singer? Where does mix start for her?

What do you all think?

How do you classify a singer's voice?
I don't! At least not right away. It's wrong to prematurely classify a voice before you really get to know what it can do. Too often,
existing range is the sole determining factor in placing a singer into a certain category. The most important factor to consider is the basic quality of the
