			<description><![CDATA[ I bought the downloadable version last night and did some of the exercises on the first lesson disc (humming, lip and tongue trills) on the way to work this
morning. When I got to work, before I turned my truck off (so noone would hear me and think I was nuts), I tried and was able to go from the bottom to the top
of my range without a break, but a few hours later I tried it again and I could not do it as well. Is this normal? ]]></description>

			<title><![CDATA[ some questions and ideas ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ The Nay-Nay-Nay exercise brings the larynx up, so it activates the swallowing muscles.
<br>
The Mum-Mum-Mum exercise brings the larynx down, so one falls in falsetto for the high notes... Brett suggests Crying for solving this problem... but the
Crying activates the neck(or maybe jaw) muscles.

I feel these two exersices use different muscles rather than the inner muscles of larynx to keep the cords together. I know that I&#39;m not right... but I
FEEL...! What&#39;s your opinion?

			<title><![CDATA[ Vocal Technique? ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ I go into nursing homes and entertain with guitar and vocals.  I have equipment that I normally use, but sometimes, I do the &#39;unplugged&#39; thing. 
I&#39;ve noticed that whenever I sing without the mic and PA, I seem to sing much better.  I don&#39;t know why that is and wonder if anyone might have a clue
and if so, how I can get to the point where I can get that level of singing transferred to the microphone?

			<description><![CDATA[ Hello, I started Brett Manning&#39;s S.S. 6 months ago around May. After I worked on lesson 1 for a month, I have been practicing lesson 2 ever since then,
marking the 5-months-of-lesson-2 period. I uploaded a recording of me doing nay back then and a recording of nays, rip rolls, mums and humming that I did
today. I believe I have improved quite a lot although I still get those breaks here and there. If you believe I am doing something wrong on the exercises,

yesterday I seem to have gotten a somewhat consistently replicable C5. Maybe it was a one day thing, but still, more balanced than anything I&#39;ve done yet.
